Welcome to Adara Bouviers! We are located on 19 acres in Medina, a small town south west of Cleveland, Ohio. All of our dogs are raised in the home, as family members and companions. Our kennel is mere steps away from the kitchen and office, and opens onto our ample property. This affords our dogs the ability to enjoy wide open spaces on which to exercise and play. The health and temperament of our dogs is of utmost importance. We breed to the American Standard for correct conformation and do complete health testing prior to breeding.
Please enjoy looking through our website and learning more about our dogs and Adara!
Why Adara?
Adara Bouviers derives its name for the double star on the back leg of the constellation Canis Major, or the Greater Dog. The theme or words that are attributed to Adara are, "that which is splendid and beautiful, that which is adorned and honored, and that which is noble and respected". Simply put, that which is the Bouvier. In addition, the name Adara is in reference to the heritage of our dogs, Sadie, Cassa and Bleu, who all hale from Kashers Star.
